LW Davis grew up a child of the '70s and '80s, swinging on rope swings, chasing monsters, fishing with his Grandfathers old Bamboo fishing pole, and playing outside till the streetlights flickered on and called him home. It was a time when imaginations ran wild, and every kid dreamed of being a superhero of their own design, a time when bicycle gangs full of kids and critters, turned every open patch of dirt into tracks full of bumps and berms.

Raised in a religious family, he spent his structured days chasing romance, climbing church steeples and exploring the hidden nooks and crannies of those old sanctuaries his folks dragged him to. Never one for organized religion, or being told how he should think and behave, he forged his own bond with the Almighty, always holding true to the spiritual concepts that shape everything he is and does.

At 18, he left home for Colorado State University, and took up studying Literary Arts and Theater with a focus on Creative Writing and Music. His early adult years unfolded as a touring musician in successful bands, chasing dreams that molded the man he has become.

Today, LW loves tellin' tales kissed by the spirit, staying faithful to biblical truths without the soapbox piety that can so often push folks away. He invites readers seeking a grand adventure and escape from the everyday chaos to discover grace and redemption on their own terms—through those quiet God Winks that life tends to offer up.
